I'm not disagreeing with you but the situation is pretty much the same
for plugins and applets, isn't it ?
It's also not that logical that some stuff is installed from "Applet
Gallery" and some other stuff is installed from "Applet Installer, but
I realize that changing that is probably not within the current scope.
However, if we really want to change something regarding App Gallery I
think it's important to also think about a possible integration with
third party applet install/uninstall in the future.
