I've been running the beta server for ages, since the Touch was in early beta, or before. I periodically just do a "apt-get update/upgrade" on my music server and it generally works just fine.
I don't buy new music all that frequently. But I've noticed twice over the past six or so weeks that when I do add a new album or two, that it does not sow up in either the bottom of the main server page: 832 albums with 10537 songs by 538 artists. and they are not in the "new music" menu/display. But if I manually search by genre, they are there, and can be played. Sorry, I don't have more exact information on when this started.
