Yesterday I could reproduce the issue in IE8, now I can't. (in IE8 or Chrome). Did anyone take a look at the logfiles I uploaded? Yesterday when I did a wipe & rescan the Album Artwork remained in the browser window, if I do a wipe & rescan now the browser window will be cleared too.
