The firmware problem is a 7.6 specific problem so if you are having 7.5 problems then you may be swapping one set of issues for another. AFAICT the current 7.6 fix to my problem is only temporary until a new version of fw is released. Also I do not think 7.6 currently has a fix for your problem.
