I have tried using various builds of 7.6 including that of November 3rd. I have so far always had to back out, the problem has been with scanning for new or changed.
A complete scan works fine and the speed improvement is impressive. I don't like that you cannot see the results of the scan while it is progressing as in 7.5.1 . You cannot see any artists or albums until the scan has completely finished, but that is a minor issue. The big problem I have is with scanning for new or changed - it doesn't work at all. It just displays the name of the OSX internal file .DS_Store and then stops. It doesn't actually do a scan at all.
