I'm not sure if I should open a Bugzilla account and vote on one of these... My problem is that I get the music stop and "rebuffering" at the start of playing 24/96 FLAC albums maybe 20% of the time. After the initial "rebuffering", the remainder of the albums plays fine. But my configuration uses a NAS (QNAP TS-110) and the Touch is connected through Wi-Fi to a wireless router. The NAS is wired (ethernet) to the router. Signal strength to the Touch is 100% and I never see a drop out when running the Touch Network Test. If I move the SBS to my desktop PC, which is also Wi-Fi to the router, then it works fine. That doubles the Wireless path: Wi-Fi from the PC to the router and then Wi-Fi to the Touch. But never a problem. If I go back to using the SBS on the NAS, but make the connection from the Touch to the router wired, the problem happens MUCH less frequently, but it still does happen sometimes. So I'm not sure if the problem is with the Touch, the NAS, or the wireless. It seems like a combination of factors. I see the NAS processor usage hit 100% when starting the album. Sometimes it rebuffers when it hits 100% but usually it does not. So it is not just due to the wireless. It doesn't happen when the SBS is hosted on a desktop PC, even with the connection from the PC to the router and the router to the Touch both wireless. It is not just the NAS, since it happens much less frequently (rarely) when the NAS is used to host the SBS but the Touch is wired to the router instead of wireless. But combine wireless to the Touch with SBS on the NAS, and the problem happens about 20% of the time when starting a 24/96 FLAC album. It never rebuffers after the initial hiccup. It never happens with 16/44 FLAC. Does this apply to one of the known bugs? I am running the latest released SBS and Touch firmware.
