There is no reason to make this complicated, just make sure to add
tracks immediately when the current track reaches the last track in the
playlist.
I believe the reason for the 15 seconds is also the make sure the audio
buffer in the player has some time to fill up if you have a slow wifi
connection. Just for reference, in Dynamic Playlist plugin where I've a
similar solution, I'm using a delay of 60 seconds.
