The primary goal of onebrowser is simply to support library browsing by providing a single core implementation of the browsing functionality. This brings a number of benefits including simplification of the code base, more consistent experience across UIs in some cases (mostly by resolving bugs that only showed up in one UI) and a defined cross-UI API for extending or modifying the library-browsing experience. Any functional gains to one UI or another are a fortunate side-effect of this work. It is not planned to add context menus to the ip3k player-UI (Boom, SB1/2/3, Transporter), at least not as part of the onebrowser work. -- awy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ awy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7480 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85896 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
