It is to be noted that AMS has brought back MIP binaries to its web site due to user's pressure, and that AFAIK, the Squeezebox devices are the only NMP supporting it, which makes these devices even sexier. As erland said, if you wish to bring MIP support out of the code trunk, you'd better ensure you won't break it with API changes, otherwise you'll get a whole lot of angry customers...
