Does anyone have any insights into the 7.6 SQLite slow initial query
problem?

On my system, after starting SBS, a simple 'new music' request from the
webUI takes 53 seconds to display the page. During that time,
slimserver.pl's CPU load as reported by top never exceeds 3%.

(This is after booting the system and waiting for a couple of minutes
for things to settle down. Again, top shows that there aren't any
other CPU hogs running in the background.)

Subsequent 'new music' and pretty much any other query requests that I
can think of are vary fast and return the data in under 3 seconds.

So why is the 1st query request that's made of SQLite soooooo
slooooooow?

Would it make sense for SBS, on startup, to do some kind of 'seed'
query on its own so we can get whatever work happens there out of the
way?
