I used to experience that a lot, but haven't seen it much lately. Do your drives spin down when not in use? Seems to me that SBS wants to access the music library files even when you're just browsing the database. I think that may be a throwback to pre-database days, where it checks to see if files are still there any time it references them in a UI.
