I agree, in Classic skin I can't even reach the Advanced Search at the
moment.

Is this really any different than the search field on the home page ?
That also only displays if you mouse over over it and I suspect most
people won't click the "Search" link they just enter the search
criteria directly on the home page.

Agreed, it should display albums the same way as it does in the Albums
menu.

I'd like songs to be displayed in the same way as they are in the
current playlist in the Classic skin, basically:
<title format> from <album> by <artist>
Didn't this also used to happen when browsing into an album in the
browse menus ? At least it does that in my 7.5 installation.
In onebrowser, browsing into an album in the web interface only
displays the songs according to the title format and never displays the
extra album/artist information.

I think all search results should be displayed with the search critera
input fields on the top of the page, currently this only happens in the
search initiated from the Home page. Neither the advanced search nor the
per object search have the search criterias at the top of the page.

I think I'd like artwork on albums but not on tracks. The issue with
having artworks on tracks is that track searches might result in more
matches and showing artwork results in that I have to scroll a lot
since the result takes up more space when it displays artwork.
Still, artwork is useful to identify the search result. Maybe it would
be possible to show the artwork in some kind of mouse over dialog that
only is shown when you hover above an item ?
But it should also be consistent, currently tracks are shown without
artwork in advanced search but with artwork in the normal search.

I think my library is too small to notice the issues, often I don't get
the "More..." link. From the tests in my library it feels kind of good,
because it means I can:
1. Enter my search string on the home page
2. Quickly scroll down to the section for the object type I'm
interested in and click the "More..." link to display all results
In 7.5 this was a lot harder since you would have to scroll quite a lot
to reach the object type you were interested looking for in step 2.
Still, from my perspective the intermediate search dialog (with the
four search fields) reached by clicking the "Search" link in the home
page feels a bit redundant. I think I'd prefer that the "Search" link
on the home page went to a page with a single search criteria input
box, same as in 7.5.
In Classic skin it doesn't even seem to be possible to do the global
search which search for the string in all object types.
