I'm still running 7.5.x, because 7.6 is broken for me (esp. scanning). A full rescan takes about 50 mins for me, but a scan for new/changed files is 5-10 mins. That elapsed time really doesn't bother me, as it doesn't interrupt music playback. I'm sure 7.6 can do a rescan faster (not because of the DB engine, but optimisation of the file scanning phase in particular), and I would appreciate a speed increase, but I'm not really concerned by it.
