I believe you can disable certain file types, so you just have to
disable the video file extensions to disable video. Pictures is a bit
harder since you want to scan album covers but not photos.
However, as long as you keep video and photos and music in three
separate folders, you can easily disable them by just including the
folders which includes the media types you are interested in.
So I believe there are ways around it, even if there isn't three check
boxes that makes it easy to enable/disable them.
Extra options might sound good, but they are really only needed if the
system doesn't work, and they do make the system more complex to setup
for users who don't understand all configuration options. As long as
Logitech have tested it enough, there shouldn't be any need for extra
options, it will just work.
