You mean in the main window, not the Settings window, correct? Yes, I've noticed this too. Then again, I've always had problems with the main window not always updating the status message shown at the bottom. Most commonly in 7.5, when a scan would finish the message would never be updated and would continute to display 'scanning your library'. And only a full window refresh would clear it. > 2. It could be that the 'abort' didn't fully do its job. There have been many problems with scanner and main process not communicating correctly during a full scan. The discovering phase is always going to be run during a scan, either a full scan or new & changed. With the stuck counter - I saw almost this exact thing last night with LMS. From what I could tell in the logs, the scanner stopped sending notifies to the main SBS, so the progress never advanced, but the scan did run to completion. > > 3. Fair to say that the progress reporting as well as coordination between all the bits and pieces of running an async scan in 7.6 have not been ironed out yet. -- JJZolx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88904 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
