I was just testing this.

I started a rescan, and then suddenly remembered that I hadn't updated to 
latest SVN version, so I aborted the scan.

Abort said it had finished the scan, but the scan was still running, and the 
current phase continued to report progress.  So Abort is still not working (but 
curiously previously it did seem to work for me, so perhaps Abort only works 
correctly if there isn't a currently library to fall back to?).

I had to kill perl scanner process manually after stopping SBS process.

Having updated SVN, I performed a full rescan, and confirm that each Windows 
shortcut in my root library folder is now reported as individual phases in the 
scan progress.  Nice!  Haven't found any problems yet.
