I'm trying out LMS 7.7 on a QNAP NAS using the latest nightly tarball.

If I try a scan of Audio and a small picture library (50'ish jpg's from
a mobile phone), the scan shuts down LMS - on restart LMS starts a scan
for new media itself but the scan does nothing; says it's scanning but
gets nowhere! There's nothing useful in the server or scanner logs at
any stage. If I try a 'clear cache and rescan everything' the scanner
does nothing apart from the clock counting the scan time - but LMS does
not shut down!

If I scan for Audio files only, LMS is fine - either with a full scan
or just looking for new.

Any ideas?
