I disagree - I feel this is an improvement, but could be further improved. An artist is an artist. No matter where I click that artist, I want to see music that is associated with that artist.
The problem is the order in which the albums are displayed in. As mentioned in numerous places, the best way forward with this issue would be to present the list of albums for an artist in a better format. That could be as simple as providing an album sort mode that sorts in contribution categories, and/or group by these categories. eg. group the display of albums for an artist into contribution categories. Something like Albums, Guest Appearances, Composed/Conducted Albums.
