Are we sure these aren't caused by something triggering a rescan while
another rescan is in progress ?
I just tried to do the following in r33019 (before WAL):
1. Shutdown SBS and clear Cache folder
2. Start SBS and let it initiate a rescan
3. In the web interface try to Browse by Music Folder
The result is that when I do 3 while scanning is still in progress, I
get "database is locked" messages in the log.
I'm not sure if the same thing could also happen with scans triggered
by MusicIP or iTunes, if it can that could maybe explain why this
happens.
If I do the same thing i latest svn (with WAL), it will instead crash
the scanner, so the problem still seems to remain, it just causes a
different side effect with WAL.
I think I've only seen one user with "database is locked" messages in
the forum, are there more people with this issue calling Logitech
support as you feel it's important to solve now in 7.6.1 ? If it's just
a single user it can probably just be something with the environment.
