Did you try the release candidate for 7.6.1 posted earlier this week or
have you only tried older 7.6.1 beta versions ?
IMHO, the best way to make sure your issues are solved in either 7.6.1
or 7.7 is to try the latest 7.6.1 release and report any log messages
and other problems you see which can help developers to solve the
bugs.
I understand this isn't your responsibility as a end user, so if you
don't feel like spending time doing this that's fine, I'm just saying
that helping them is going to increase the chance of your problems
being solved in 7.7 (or maybe even in 7.6.1 if you do it today).
