I have an SB2 in my kitchen and a Boom IR remote stuck to the refrigerator. I just noticed that if I attempt to hold either the volume up or down on the remote, it only moves the volume by one unit, then immediately goes back to the Now Playing screensaver.
Tested it also with an SB3 and I see the same thing. The Boom remote works fine with a Boom, and an older full-sized remote works correctly on the SB2 and SB3.
