How does the progress reporting in settings tab work ?
Does it only move the progress bar for videos after a certain number of
files ?
I just thought mine had got stuck at 33 of 1672 and 8 minutes later it
suddenly jumped up to 133 of 1672. If the progress bar update is
triggered by number of files scanned, I think it would be a good idea
to have some kind of time based progress update also so it updates more
often on a slow system, a non moving progress indicator for 5-10 minutes
indicates that it's stuck for most people. About 8 minutes later it has
now moved to 168 of 1672 so maybe it's is time based after all and is
just updated every 5'th to 10'th minute.
By the way, the photo scan using samba share I posted in my previous
post seemed to hang, or at least make SBS unusable because it wasn't
possible to access the settings page to see the progress bar.
I'm starting to feel that I should maybe focus on only testing audio,
because video and pictures is currently obviously not reliable in my
setup, at least not if you have the files on a network share like I
have.
