In my experience Squeezeplay/Squeezeslave & sync on Windows 7 (WASAPI/ASIO) isn't that bad. I'm using Squeezeslave because you can run it as a service and you're able to use DNS hostnames. Squeezeplay fails at both. My problems with Squeezeslave are: Only 44.1Khz supported. No crossfade. No Triode's spotify. If there would be a Windows client that could fulfill those features (a ported SqueezePlayer to Windows?)
