Hey,

not sure if this is related or not. I run SbS on a NAS with Linux and
had similar issues with the video scan.

The folders on the NAS are somehow symlinked

/share/Music points to /share/MD0_DATA/Music and
/share/Movies/ points to /share/MD0_DATA/Movies

In SbS I just added the "short" symlinked paths to the media
directories. This works for the music, but not for the movies.

the logfile told me that the server was not able to find "share/Movies"
where the first "/" was missing. I changed the media directory to the
"real path: "/share/MD0_DATA/Movies" and the scan was working.

not sure, why there are differences in the behavior between both scans,
but at least it works.

However, I am not able to browse the files through DLNA. My clients see
the server, but are not able to access or see files. this is a different
story.
