Unfortunately, it looks like a simple compile of the existing 7.6.2
CPAN sources isn't trivial with Perl 5.14.2.  Several of the module
tests fail during the make process.  Probably the easiest way forward
is to incorporate some of the newer modules from 7.7.  And it's
probably going to be a couple of weeks before I can look at this.
