7.7.2 released version 7.7.x (now 7.7.3) beta where relatively safe fixes are tested, and usually a better option than the release . This will eventually becomme the next minor release . 7.8 a more adventurous beta with new untested features, this can be more unreliable (as for example yesterdays version 333903 that did not work at all) not granatueed to actually work at all.
