How is this being handled in the protocol?
You said you've tested it with iPeng, does this mean the proxy is
sending a local URL for the image instead of a remote one?
Yes, it's using something like this:
/imageproxy/http%3A%2F%2Fcdn.deezer.com%2Fcover.jpg/image.jpg
Which the clients then transform into something like this:
/imageproxy/http%3A%2F%2Fcdn.deezer.com%2Fcover.jpg/image_96x96_p.jpg
The proxy then extracts the artwork URL plus the resizing parameters to
return the image as requested.
