Yes. Except for TuneIn, where I implemented a custom artwork handler to
take advantage of TuneIn's already pre-rendered various artwork sizes. And
as a prove of concept for other services.
because as long as it's still around it really performs well and the
local scaling for artwork has always caused some issues on some systems
plus it has a bug that makes it fail for artwork which is bigger than
500x500 or 809x800px (not sure right now)
Local as in LMS?
Yes, as long as mysb.com is around, its image proxy will be faster than
most other solutions. That's why it's there. But there are use cases where
the new image proxy can help, and mysb.com can't. Eg. there are users who
run their own shoutcast or similar server which is not accessible for
mysb.com. Or Triode's spotify implementation. Or when the next mysb.com
outage happens ;-).
