Hi all,

yesterday I updated my Logitech Media Server running on Debian
GNU/Linux unstable to from 7.8.0~1374126524 to 7.8.0~1376395262.

This however broke the search functionality in "New Music" of
angryGoat's SqueezeControl and SqueezeControl HD apps for webOS.

In order to verify that it really is LMS to blame, I reverted to
version 7.8.0~1374126524 with which the SqueezeControl apps work fine.

The expected behaviour is the following: If you go to "My Music -> New
Music" the usual list of new music is being displayed. Now, if you type
in characters, the list gets filtered to match the search string
entered.

The erroneous behaviour is the following: After the first keypress, the
list of albums correctly displays according to the first letter, but
the number of search results always displays 101. The next keypress
then presents a list of ~100 empty entries and an "All songs" entry.
The number of results still displays 101. Pressing further keys does
not change anything anymore.

With version 7.8.0~1374126524 this still worked flawlessly and you
could quickly filter the list of new music as described.

Could some kind soul please take a look at what changed between August
9th and August 15th regarding search results or APIs for 3rd party apps?

I'm willing to dig into the code with appropriate pointers and hints.

Greetings,
Stefan
