Sorry about that. I did indeed optimize this query to improve its performance. It seems some optimization left a few holes... Are you angrygoat's author? If so, could you tell me which commands you're using to do those searches?
Or go to Settings/Advanced/Logging and set control.queries to debug. Then run a few of your searches and send a copy of the server.log file to michael ät slimdevices dot com. This should show me what exact queries are being used to get those results.
