I would have expected something like constant 1.411 kbps rate. Not VBR which I believe stands for Variable BitRate ? Michael/mherger, are you monitoring this thread? A "regular" WiMP PREMIUM (AAC 320) subscription is DKK 99 pr. month in Denmark. That is exactly the same as for an equivalent Spotify Premium subscription. But yes, WiMP HiFi is twice that price, DKK 199. I've been using both Spotify and WiMP for some time on both Android devices and on my Squeezebox setup. WiMP is pretty much as good as Spotify on both Android devices and in my Squeezebox setup. Also I have the impression they have very similar amount of music. Sometimes I can only find something on one of the services (sometimes it's WiMP, sometimes it's Spotify having something the competitor doesn't have). But it is getting more and more rare there are any differences, except sometimes when one of the services has an exclusive agreement with the artist for the first week before or after the official release.
