Yep I agree, its confusing at the moment. erland wrote: > > I think my suggestion would be: > - Keep http://www.mysqueezebox.com/public/plugins/repository.xml to > ensure old LMS releases continue to work. > - Mirror http://www.mysqueezebox.com/public/plugins/repository.xml to a > community maintained github repository or similar and change LMS 7.8.1 > to point to this. LMS previous version = green LMS current version = green LMS version + 1 = amber LMS version + 2 = red LMS version + 3 = disabled The old method was very annoying, in that LMS version+1 would stop your plugin from loading when the changes made to LMS version+1 had no impact at all in the plugin space. If there was a slower shutdown of plugins it would make it better for developers and also give a visual indication to users of the likelihood that a plugin will or will not work. Otherwise you are always going to go for MaxTarget version * as it saves you coming back from holiday to dozens of complaining emails from users and user work around hacks. www.spicefly.com - ** Spicefly SugarCube ** - A hassle free acoustic journey through your music library using MusicIP.
