i know it has nothing to do with that, cause i vacuum (like i wrote earlier in this thread) the db after each clear and scan so i had "no other" feeling of the time consumption on a not vacuumed db - cause i never ever had one..... The Big performance improvement was after i screw the buffer size to 100 mb (cause of my library.db was 93.7 MB).
