Testing this with my low-end single core Atom server (2 GB RAM) running Windows 7 with 34K tracks (LMS 7.8.1 1398166241). Vacuumed the large databases -- didn't take all that long -- and set the buffer size to 100 MB (my library.db is 91.7 MB). My initial impression is that search performance via the web interface and with Orange Squeeze is dramatically improved.
