I apologize -- I didn't see it as totally off-topic. The (default) separate browse mode implemented in the nightly certainly did change something for me -- without any preference changes on my part after installing it, a full rescan of my library was looking up and caching over 7000 artist images rather than the 634 it always had previously. I've been able to figure out and adjust the settings in LMS and the plugin so that won't happen again unless I want it to.
