One thing I can see immediately is that -- while "track" artist and
composer lists would be of some value for me, I don't really need or
want LMS to try and download (either during the scan or "on the fly")
pictures for these (quite large) additional artist lists -- though I
definitely do want them for my Album Artists.
None of this has changed - as it is totally off-topic. Please discuss
this in its own thread. There are already way too many off-topic
discussions going on in this thread :-).
I apologize -- I didn't see it as totally off-topic. The (default)
separate browse mode implemented in the nightly certainly did change
something for me -- without any preference changes on my part after
installing it, a full rescan of my library was looking up and caching
over 7000 artist images rather than the 634 it always had previously.
I've been able to figure out and adjust the settings in LMS and the
plugin so that won't happen again unless I want it to.
Oh... I might have pushed a change in the MAI plugin which could cause
this...
I'll bring it up for discussion elsewhere when things settle down a bit
Thanks! (Until then edit the plugin's Importer2.pm file line 43 onward
and re-enable the SQL lines I've commented out ;-))
