One question, though: If I queue up a playlist (or album or anything else) with shuffle not set, then hit shuffle, I notice that the first track is never shuffled. If shuffle tracks is already set before queueing, this first track will be shuffled with the rest. I can understand why the first track wouldn't be shuffled if it were actively playing, but if it's not playing and the player is stopped, shouldn't it be included with the rest?
That's nothing I've ever looked into (nor changed), tbh. But I think it's not about the first track (which in my tests does change), but the currently playing track. This would end up at the top of the list in shuffle track mode. But that's just my understanding as a user. I doubt anything has changed in this behaviour in years.
