Are we browsing or are we filtering :D that's a question . In a
search/filter scenario I would expect only the albums in that genre .
Browsing I would expect all albums under an artist that's what I like .

If we where choosing some search terms "album artist" / genre / year and
then hit a search button I would expect a very filtered album list .

Btw genre is a bad example it's usually a mess in tagging if it's there
at all ( music brains don't assign them ) so in the genre case a safe
way is to actually show all albums .

Another idea let the path to albums sort the list if you got there by
"Album Artist" put those on top if you got there by genre "jazz" put
those albums on top but include all albums eventually .

One point is that it always will be corner cases when albums are not
shown for an artist anywhere in the current way things work .
JJZolz speaks of one of them I'm sure that they are more of them and it
could possibly pop up some new ones with current changes .

Also in these tread you got the guys with really consistent tagging ,
and me :D with semi inconsistent and partly bad tags , but I suspect the
typical case is worse than my tags
