the same and suppress the Å
Exactly. As we do the same with the items anyway.
In what sense? If you're talking about storing Å as A in the sort fields
within the database, that's the wrong approach, IMO. As you can already
see, the DBMS handles the data collation correctly as it is now.
The bug we're talking about is the inconsistency between page bar and
page content.
Whether treating Å the same as A is right, is a whole different
question. But it's the way it has been dealt with for years. That's not
something I'm going to change easily.
