Well what I was trying to say in a slightly tongue-in-cheek, ironic manner, was, I don' t spend time listening for differences, if I hear one, then I just decide if it's better or worse. I am largely indifferent to the hi-fi thing, I just enjoy the music, and a lot of spoken word (I grew up with the BBC home and light service)none of it is as good as the real thing. I have a mate who builds his own equipment stands, he spends many hours tapping and sniffing different types of wood to get the result he perceives as an improvement, I just plonk the stuff down anywhere; get my drift?
