I believe Random Albums is implemented by the Additional Browse Modes plugin. Something you'll have to get used to (I'm not totally crazy about how it works) is that Additional Browse Modes needs to be configured for each player. So you can go into the web interface, Setings > Player > [Your_Player_Name] > Additional Browse Modes and select which browse modes will appear on/for that player.
