Stability is great, but you know how that works. You can (unluckily)
install a nightly that has a bug, maybe even a large one. But it's
almost always fixed by the next day, so you just install the next
nightly. No reason to update constantly, as it doesn't change that
quickly.

There are some great improvements to new & changed scanning and (yay!)
updated artwork handling. Changed covers are now picked up nicely and
you should find that you now have little need to run a full scan.

Make sure you take advantage of new 'maximum' memory setting under
Settings > Advanced > Performance > Database Memory Config. It gives a
nice performance boost, especially when scanning.

Full text search may or may not be your cuppa tea. It doesn't
particularly fit the way I like to use the basic search, but it may be
great for you. But it's a plugin, so it can easily be disabled and when
you do, the behavior just goes back to the old basic search behavior.

You'll find a bunch of new interface stuff, which is probably the
biggest hurdle. I don't recall, but there were one or two example
plugins installed previously. You may want/need to disable them after
installing. In any event, be sure to look at plugins after installing,
to see what's new.

Oh, and then there's the single greatest enhancement in the history of
Slim Server/Squeezebox Server/Logitech Media Server: *Random Albums*.
