I have had an ongoing issue with LMS 7.9 on Windows 8.1 64 bit unable to scan my music directory. It gets so far and then stops - invariably at a different place. I then have to kill LMS scanner in Task Manager. if I do a rescan it claims it has been running for 398112.16:19 (or similar) I then click rescan again and it starts only to get stuck after 2 minutes on another file. Very occasionally (1 in 20 runs?) it completes !
