Ok, that's pretty much what I wanted to know. But: that message always
shows up within only about 5 seconds after the restart. Which means: in
those cases MusicIP would never have worked with LMS.
And there are lots of restarts. It rather seems as if LMS was restarted
pretty often. And sometimes MusicIP was running at this point, and
sometimes not. It's not that LMS would lose connection while running.
So please check MusicIP. Is it crashing? Or are you rebooting the
machine, restarting LMS before MIP was available?
And please open a new thread. This has nothing to do with 7.9. Thanks!
(Oh, and one more thing: you should pester your plugin authors to update
their plugins. Some of the compatibility warnings you see will be
failures in the next Perl version. And they already create a lot of
noise in the log file)
