Never mind. I tried the Eagles 24/192 with ALAC and it seems to work fine. I thought for some reason at some point that iTunes wouldn't do above 24/96 which was probably the way the old versions were and it got updated at some point. Oh well, I'm happy I got everything working, and sorry for thread crapping on myself.
