No because a device can advertise itself as

1- A server from which multimediafiles can be retrieved by clients
2- A renderer/client/player that is capable of playing back files when
told to do so

On top of that, a device can have 2 functionnality

3- Be able to browse UPnP servers and request file from them
4- Controlling (be a remote) of other renderers

Of course 2- and 3- are (I think) always linked together. So, in the
case of LMS, the Andy plugin brings

a- Every SB device in now a UPnP renderer (2- and 3-) that can be used
by any UPnP control point
b- LMS is a UPnP server and database becomes visible to other, non-LMS,
UPnP client (1-)

LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2. Sonos 2xPLAY:1,
PLAY:3, PLAY:5, Marantz NR1603, JBL OnBeat, XBMC, Foobar2000, XBoxOne
(sort of)
