I've been running a linux mipsel v2.5.0 build of squeeze2upnp directly on my Popcorn Hour A-110 for the last week. It's the only UPnP device I own, so I didn't need/want to run the full plugin on my 2 LMS instances. You do need to have a internal hard disk installed to run s2p directly on the pch and to have s2p automatically start on boot. Older versions I've tried would hang or stop responding within a few hours of startup and I'd have to manually kill and restart the daemon.
The A-110 hasn't been available for a long time now so I'd doubt many users will find the attached config.xml usefull unless you just happen to have one. The A-110 requires a modified volume curve definition as it's volume is at 100% when the volume indicator is at 0. The volume ranges from -15 through +15 but anything above 0 clips when playing audio files.
