Ok, here's an update: 19672
The Remote Libraries plugin now not only gives you access to other LMS installations, but to UPnP/DLNA servers, too. I moved all the old UPnP client code from the core LMS code to the plugin and updated it. Browsing UPnP servers no longer is limited to the web UI and the classical text UI. You can now navigate them from any device (player, web browser, mobile app). And if you don't want it at all, you can disable it from the plugin's settings page, rather than edit the startup command. Using the correct app on your mobile device now actually allows you to stream from your phone/tablet to the SB environment. In that screenshot you see sources running on an Android tablet, a router, a NAS, a Raspberry Pi, and a Windows PC. LMS instances show the LMS logo, while UPnP sources can have their own individual icons. Please note that if you had UPnP support disabled in your LMS, you'll have to re-enable it in the plugin's settings in order to see those sources! And one more thing: browsing a UPnP source often isn't as elegant as browsing LMS. You won't always have artwork. Navigation trees vary heavily. Interestingly LMS' built-in UPnP server seems to be among the best out there ;-). But then you won't see them, as accessing LMS in "LMS mode" is still the way to go. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: Bildschirmfoto 2016-01-08 um 15.10.34.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=19672| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ Michael http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins - MusicArtistInfo, MusicInfoSCR, Smart Mix ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mherger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104818 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
