When you test - use the simplest setups first - trying with synced players is introducing more layers making the problem harder to find. AFAICT the previous two worked OK because AAC is okay playing direct to radios but when synced with SB classic the stream now needs to be transcoded. I haven't seen a log yet from your system where a transcoded AAC stream works. Are you sure faad works on your system ?
