There is nothing in the codes that's preventing us to release a i386 build. It's all up to the binary builders.
As far as I know, the windows builds does not mandate a SSE2+ processor, in fact, i don't think the official release uses any SIMD optimization at all. So I can only deduce you are using Blender on Linux and the official release is somehow i686? You might be able to find an i386 build on http://www.graphicall.org/builds/ -mike On Wed, Nov 25, 2009 at 11:14 PM, The Jackal <[email protected]> wrote: > are there any plans for support? > _______________________________________________ > Bf-committers mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.blender.org/mailman/listinfo/bf-committers > _______________________________________________ Bf-committers mailing list [email protected] http://lists.blender.org/mailman/listinfo/bf-committers
